is black powder in bluets? so how could it be illegal?Is it illegal to have black powder or ingredients of black powder?
I live in MA. Its not illegal to own black powder if you are over the age of 18 I think and you have legally bought it. Making its only illegal if they find out you made it, and owning ingredients to making it isn't illegal as long as they aren't mixed already and made into the powder. It is illegal in extremely large amounts but I assume you're not planning on having enough to blow up your house and family. All of the ingredients can be purchased easily and legally. Of course it's illegal to make explosives or anything of that sort with it.
I'm not sure about flash powder however, but i would assume that the laws are the same since black powder and flash powder are very closely related.
Its not like you would get in much trouble anyways. No one will care if you have black powder illegally. It's not like the FBI will do a random black powder search in your home.
So pretty much to sum it up, you can have black powder and flash powder as long as you bought it legally. You can legally own all of the ingredients. You can't make it legally without a permit, but no one will find out anyways so you're fine.
