Is it legal to hunt with a black powder gun if you have felony convictions?

Read the Federal Firearms regs...black powder arms aren't BY LAW classified as ';firearms'; (used to anyway...I don't think things have changed THAT much). Burt check just the same...state statutes, too.

Most often you cannot have a firearm if you have been convicted of a felony. That means own or use..

What state are you in and I could tell you for sure.
No firearms are allowed to be possessed by a felon. However you can hunt with a bow and arrow!
Yes!
Quite possibly. Contact parole authority, whether or not they concern you. They'll let you know.
