hi, please help me, i need the equation of the black powder with sodium nitrate, coal and sulfur. I know that black powder formulations where the nitrate used is sodium nitrate tend to be hygroscopic, but if we had to use sodium nitrate, how the equations would be?? what the products would be??? thanks for your help!! What is the equation of black powder using sodium nitrate instead of potassium nitrate?
The sodium won't do anything it is considered as a spectator ion, other than a different colored flame nothing should change.
